Shepreth Wildlife Park 27-09-11
The Shepreth Wildlife Park first started as a private wild animal sanctuary in 1979, when a young injured jackdaw was brought in to be looked after. 'Jack' recovered and soon became one of the family. Since then there have been many changes - including the recent addition of the Tigers, the rescued Lynx and Mountain Lions.
Many of the other exotic animals that are in the Park today come from zoos that have closed down, were unwanted pets or are part of captive breeding programmes.
